He expects the digital currency to be embraced worldwide as a primary reserve asset. Recently, Kim posted an image on a social platform featuring his meeting with American Bitcoin’s president, Matt Prusak.
American Bitcoin was established by the sons of former President Donald Trump. The firm is largely controlled by a Nasdaq-listed company, with Hut 8 holding the majority stake while the Trump family maintains a smaller share. Influential investors, including the Winklevoss twins of a renowned crypto exchange, have also supported the operation.
After meeting Prusak, Kim’s optimism about the firm’s future grew significantly. He remarked that American Bitcoin could evolve into one of the leading companies in its sector and play an important role in advancing related political initiatives. Kim further predicted that Bitcoin’s rapid climb in value will enable the company, trading under the ticker ABTC, to reach the highest market capitalization among global companies.
Market activity has shown signs of caution this week. The ABTC stock, which opened at $7 on Monday, September 22, has struggled to overcome the $8 level and was last recorded at $6.60. Bitcoin’s price also regressed slightly, dropping from over $114,500 earlier on September 22 to approximately $109,851.46 at the time of this report.
